History
Casey A. Vedder opened what is now Choice Physical Therapy & Wellness in January 2008 as White Sulphur Springs Physical Therapy—and he hired Kristin Mills, Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), as the clinic’s first employee.
In March 2010, Casey and Kristin relocated the practice to Mt. Airy, NC, and renamed the clinic Choice Physical Therapy & Wellness, Inc., to reflect the right of patients to choose their providers.
In early 2013, with a growing number of patients, Choice PT onboarded Teresa Smith, PTA, and Lone Weatherman, PTA.
In the summer of 2014, Choice PT added summer camps to help children and young people (CYPs) build athletic speed and agility. At the same time, Choice PT added a specialized injury prevention program for middle and high school aged students.
Choice PT has grown in reputation and size over the years—and the clinic has become a favorite of local physicians and their families.
The clinic’s team has grown, too, so Choice PT is now a top-ranked musculoskeletal healthcare provider in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast
